GEN 5 EyasSat Nanosatellite Simulator with COSMOS Command and Control
EyasSat is a fully functional nanosatellite designed for teaching spacecraft systems engineering in the classroom and laboratory. EyasSAT was co-developed between the U.S. Air Force Academy and Colorado Satellite Services. EyasSAT demonstrates six traditional satellite subsystems of a satellite bus: Structural, Electrical Power (EPS), Data Handling (DH), Communications (Comm), Attitude Determination and Control (ADCS), and Thermal subsystems.
COSMOS©, from Ball Aerospace, is the world’s only FREE, OPEN SOURCE, Command and Control Program. It is used for ground testing and flight operations. COSMOS was recently customized for use with EyasSat Desktop Satellite Simulators.
